Children: The Dioufs' ministry reaches out to several of the more than 30 ethnic groups in Senegal and to other West Africans living in Senegal. Their primary ministry focus is leadership training and mentoring of African church leaders. From their latest newsletter: "This newsletter focuses on the ministry of the John Huffman Christian school in Thies. The academic year started the first week of October. By the end of the month, we had reached all of our objectives. A great number of families wanted to register their children at our school. There are now 341 students registered at John Huffman. Eighty percent of the children are from Muslim families, fifteen percent from Catholic, and five percent from Protestant families. All the available classrooms are being used. We give thanks to God for his faithfulness and the testimony of this ministry project in this country. " |
