"Thank you SO MUCH for your faithful support to our family and our church planting ministries in the Philippines.

When we arrived in Davao City on January 16, 1977, there were 2 baptized believers. They had been baptized by Bob Skivington in December 1976. As of the end of 2007, there were exactly 100 CBAP (Conservative Baptist Association of the Philippines) churches across Mindanao.

When we arrived in Cebu City on August 1, 1986, there was one baptized believer. Today there are 24 organized CBAP churches and another 19 church plants in progress on the islands of Cebu, Negros, Leyte, Samar and Bohol. Thirty-three years ago when we were appointed CBFMS church planting missionaries in El Camino Baptist Church, Tucson, Arizona, we took as our missionary verse: "I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." We are so thankful He allowed us to take part in what He was planning to do in the Philippines from 1977-2008. On February 29 we flew home to retire from WorldVenture. Our retirement date is September 1, 2008.
