From Ramon and Alma...Greetings from Nogales. We are in the thirdmonth of this year, which is going by fast and here we again, bringing you an update about the ministry of SEBANO.

We started our semester with great enthusiasm. We have 132 students throughout all our programs. The students continue with their field work, especially the team that is planting a church in Sagdalena, Sonora. It is a joy to hear them share their experiences and how they are gaining souls for the kingdom. We need a bigger place for their meetings. Please pray for them. We continue our courses inside prison and we see how God touches the hearts of the people there. Such as the case of Jose A who by the will of the Lord, was freed two months ago, a year before he was scheduled to be released. Jose was arrested when he turned 19 years old for drug dealing and spent 13 years in prison. Six years ago, he gave his life to Christ, when the seminary was already ministering inside there. The seminary courses prepared him to be a great leader for the church "Sun of Justice" inside prison. Now, 32 years old, his wish is to be a pastor and has started his studies at the Seminary. One life transformed through the power of God and called to his service. It is great to be able to share what we have seen in the lives of our students and we know it is a blessing for you, who are behind us praying and supporting us. Please pray for our students.

Alma and her team held their Annual Ladies Luncheon. We had over 450 women. The plan was for 400, but is was necessary to accommodate more tables. The students that helped, tell me that over 50 ladies were turned back because there was simply no more space. It was impressive to see those Christian ladies singing and praising the Lord, from different churches and cities. At the end, 74 ladies either received Jesus as thier savior or rededicated their lives to the Lord. We always have new ladys at the churches that can say they became a christian in this particular event.
